Lately the main focus and major goal for the LS has been to finally defeat Vrtra... I've lost count on the number of attempts now, but it's a pretty good amount.. We have a good strategy down,  the right people who are aware of their job and how to do it, and most of the time the right numbers... But, nearly every attempt has been ended by Spike Flail... If you don't know already, Spike Flail is basically one of the most powerful moves an NPC can use in this game, that takes out an entire group of people like 160 degrees around it.

It sucks... We've worked so hard and came so close, but it seems almost unavoidable.. Vrtra can't fly as you may already know, which turns out to be more of a bad thing than a good thing in this case, unlike how we first thought.. With the other two wyrms, during flight we could adjust the positioning, since it will often move out of place over time (Vrtra especially, somehow summoning makes it move) or if someone gets agro.. With Vrtra however we can't, and trying to adjust its positioning can cause a flail.. That combined with the fact that it uses Charm often (hate reset), which eats away our tanks that way, making it easy to get hate from him if you're not careful..

Our best attempt lead to the following:

Around 20-25% HP left, and it only took a little under 2 hours... Soon after it did Spike Flail, ending our attempt. =(

::sigh::... We're still trying for it, really hope we get the kill soon before moral falls any lower..

As for his friend Tiamat, things have been going ok, it's just been a little bumpy as we try different strategies ... As of this moment we're on around the 18th kill, and of those I'd have to say these were the best drops I've seen...

Recently the drops have been kinda iffy though... On a side thought, quick congrats to Alaris on the new record for Dragon Kick :D... She always would say how she wished that she could do damage like this, and now here she is doing it. :p

And um.. Congrats to Ars?.. lol

Did one of his highest Shark Bites, and then Tiamat squished him... XD

Anndd... Also caught a screen shot with Muteki using Namas Arrow on Tiamat in one of the more recent fights!

Finally got around to doing this... Must've had the mission to do it for around 7 months now ><

Wasn't really in a hurry to do it, since I really don't find the items from the BC essential or even too great for RNG, at least compaired to what I already have^^;;... But from looking at videos and screen shots and hearing about it from others it was something I wanted to experience. :D

And here they are:

The Hume... Which is something like a NIN/THF? I forgot already ><

The Taru!!.. A BLM/DRK, I remember that one :)

Mithra... The BST/..THF?... Forgot that too ><.. Bleh, whatever, it's a mithra with an axe..

The Galka... A SAM/DRG?... Love the ghung-ho look...

And lastly the Elvaan, pain in the ass PLD/WHM...

The BC itself was a lot harder then I thought it would be.. I was thinking it would be pretty easy considering the group of people we had, especially since we had quite a few that had experience with this BC already. But, we ended up having a few failures, mostly due to some miscomunications and misunderstandings, but we still cleared the BC for everyone that needed it in the end... Didn't take many in-BC screen shots^^;... These two were it:

In the end.. I chose the Suppinomonniiuno (no clue how to spell it) to use later for my NIN once it's a few levels higher.. Just hit 67 tonight, so a little bit longer and I'll be able to try it out.^^

Well not really the story.. but it sounds good!

We were pretty bored, lol... Killed it 5 times in a row, and I died on the fifth from a strong Paralyze XD.. He finished it off, sat on my body, it repopped, casted Blizzaga II and killed him too >:D... Go go karma!

Just thought that was funny XD

Only thing I have left to catch up on is Dynamis progress.. I'll aim to add that in later this week, but it depends with how my free time goes..
